04/24/2023 Siqi's final postdoc work is now published in Cell.  We identified and characterized an innate immune-like pathway that plays a vital role for injury sensing and repair. Remarkably this pathway shares homology with those crucial for the recognition and protection against pathogens, implying a shared evolutionary origin between these mechanisms.
